COMMUNITY GARDENS ANARCHIST COLLECTIVES SELLS ITS HOT PEPPERS!

Posted by douglas / on 06/10/2011 / 3 Comments

Alas, the allotment gardens of the community garden is "sold out" but Theresa Elliott (gardening guru in serious but fun-loving  training) will be taking names and email addresses for next year as we expand to 16 to 20 11 by 12 food allotment gardens and as the collective grows its larger community garden lands.

We are selling our organic pepper plants, eggplants (10 inch high) multitude of tomato varieties, basil, lovage, and our sometime ignorance about gardening is free to hear about- our funny mistakes, learning about insects (and loving them) as well as seed trials that failed or worked.  Meet our many varities of pole beans and pole bean sculpture.  Learn about lettuce success and failures, curvy snow pea beauties, bush beans in different colours to set the imagination afire, sweet potatoes and organic red potatoes that will grow before your eyes, meet an ugly hot house and really ugly compost thing that will make you want to do better than that.   All "profits" go to those who can't feed themselves with adequate nutrition. We're the GTT anarchist inspired not-for-profit food sub-group founded on the Spanish Revolution anarchist collectives that had wide-spread success in 1936-'39 until the communists and facists killed them all.

Good with your hands in building? Bring your hammer and ideas for our crazy build gardening shed to put our tools in or sleep in on a hot night and then swim in the clean Silver Creek.

Please note: this is a purely whimsical note that is written above. there is and will not be ever sleeping places at the gardens nor is swimming to be considered in the silver Creek. In fact disregard the article except for the wonderful anarchist collectives of Spain
    Good bye
